Emanuell James, Chief Executive Officer

Acknowledged as an industry visionary and business strategist, Emmanuel James brings 17 years of extensive software and management experience to Edgesys RFID.

Emmanuel has been an integral part of Edgesys (the parent of Edgesys RFID) since its inception in 1996. He was involved in software consulting and managing systems for multinational companies like Proctor and Gamble, Avon Cosmetics, UPS, Lever, Sompo-Japan, United National, Reliance Insurance, Toy'R Us, Footstar, GAN North America, Merchants Insurance, Overseas United Bank. Currently, he is also CEO of Edgesys .

Emmanuel is an accomplished leader, who attains results by taking initiative, undertaking risks, providing skillful management, and claiming responsibility. A strategic thinker and well rounded executive with solid skills in all key areas of systems management and on the forefront of technical expertise.

Emmanuel has been involved in the creation, management and board of various companies. He was involved in the creation of Emaxers, a web applications development company, as also in CLEW, a BPO company catering to training and placing CPA's. He was also involved in the creation and management of Wirenix, a wireless speech application company. He currently resides on the board of System Fusion, a solutions company for the insurance sector, as also on the board of TV India, a TV production company, which produces shows such as V-desi.

Emmanuel has a BS in Physics from the University of Bombay, with a diploma in computer management from Datapro, as also a diploma in Sports marketing and Event management from New York University.

Devarshi Mistry, Chief Technology Officer

Devarshi has over 16 years of experience in technology sector. His experience for the last 10 years has been in information technology, developing business and Internet based application for various clients in the Pharmaceutical, Insurance and Life/Healthcare industries.

Major companies for which he has worked for as a consultant are Alcon Laboratories, ABC TV, Prudential Financial, New York Life, GE Capital and AIG.  Devarshi's roles have included full life cycle development and expertise in XML and PML development and implementation for supply chain manufacturing and inventory control application systems.

His technical background includes MS Visual Basic and .NET development tools for desktop based development of business and commercial applications; ASP and ASP.  NET for web based applications and MS SQL Server and ACCESS for database.

Devarshi has a BS Degree in Electrical Engineering from V.J.T.I. in India.
 

Venkatesh Natarajan, Chief Financial Officer

Venkatesh has over 12 years of experience encompassing a broad spectrum of industries and job functions.  He possesses a unique, eclectic blend of marketing, product management, financial and strategic skill sets.

Before joining in the creation of Edgesys RFID, Venkatesh was in the Pricing Strategy Group at the Hertz Corp.  He was the primary Product & Strategy Manager overseeing $500 million in annual revenue and responsible for achieving several financial/strategic objectives.  He managed a diverse team and directed all decision-making in managed markets including creation of arbitrage opportunities to maximize revenue streams. 

Prior to Hertz, he was in the M&A consulting group of Ernst and Young, directing several due diligence and post-merger integration engagements.  Additionally, Venkatesh has worked at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) and was on a selected management team that created the first revolutionary internet music licensing contract.   Prior to ASCAP, he was a staff member at KPMG in their Assurance & Advisory Services Group servicing middle-market companies.

Venkatesh holds a BBA in Accounting from the Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College and an MBA in International Business from Thunderbird, The Garvin School of International Management.   Additionally, Venkatesh has completed graduate level coursework in Corporate & International Taxation and International Studies.
